Brain Tumor Research
Scientists are working on several research projects to expand on what is known about Brain Tumors. The research will improve knowledge about the factors that increase the risk for a Brain Tumor as well as the causes, and best treatments and cures, and will aid people living with Brain Tumors and their caregivers.
We are currently gathering the information required to support projects such as Magnetic Resonance (MR) Imaging to Determine High-Risk Areas in Patients With Malignant Gliomas and to Design Potential Radiation Plans and to Examine Metabolite Changes in Gliomas and Other Solid Tumors, Surgical Tissue Flap to Bypass the Blood Brain Barrier in GBM, and Local Control, Quality of Life and Toxicities in Adults With Benign or Indolent Brain Tumors Undergoing Proton Radiation Therapy.
